Writing Journey
I’ve always aspired to be an author. I enjoy writing a lot. In my first 3 books. I will admit my writing is painful to read at times and I have thought multiple times about redrafting it but I enjoy the scenarios and the characters I built so much it would be so hard to redraft it. My newest book “Window Lovers” is a lot better. I enjoy it so much and proud to announce that there is a Book 2 in the works! I would recommend reading that book of mine first as I am so proud of it. I am 15 years old and UK based.
The “My Bestfriend’s Older Brother” Series
2022
Book 1 of the MBFOB series is about a Bisexual 14 year old boy from London, Will, Who is heavily inspired by me, who enjoys dance, who falls in love with his Bestfriend’s Older Brother, Ethan. The 6 books shows there journey throughout school, college, long distance and university. There is also a Spin Off Book focusing on the bestfriend, Maria and her life. These were all written in a diary form and get progressively better. The sixth one was definitely the best and the best way to end the series. They were all written throughout 2022 as they are all short stories. It was inspired by Heartstopper and The Summer I turned Pretty.
Window Lovers

After the MBFOB series. I took a small break from writing. I wanted to do something different. I took light inspiration from one of my closest friends love life and made a joke about writing it into a book. When I started to think about it I created the characters and it was very different to my prior series. It was set in Miami and followed a teenage girl from Georgia who has recently had her parents divorce. Her mom, needing support. Seeks it from her bestfriend and she moves in the apartment complex above her with her two children. Lyla, our main character, and her brother. Her mother’s bestfriend had a son, Lyla’s bestfriend. Noah. Throughout the beggining of her time in Miami she starts to catch feelings for Noah. But not just Noah. Also his bad boy football boy bestfriend frok there school who lives above them who sends her notes through the window. In this book we watch Lyla in the beggining of her senior year in a new school, make friends, find love and see who she choses. This is the book I am most proud about and that is why I am ecstatic to announce that Book 2 is in the works! It takes inspiration from The Summer I Turned Pretty. With Jenny Han being one of my favourite authors.
